Is anyone familiar with the probate process in Birmingham/Alabama. Can a property be purchased while going through the probate process? Thanks

Hi I'm an investor in the beautiful state of Alabama and I have just went through that process myself. So here is the deal for the state.
When the owner dies and wills the house to someone the will must go through probate. The owner should pay for this but if they can't the average cost is $5000 to $8000 max. Once the property completes the probate process then it's free to purchase. I use Jefferson Title in Birmingham to get the job done. You can speak with

Account Executive, they are extremely investor friendly. There hasn't been one creative deal they couldn't make happen. I wish you success in your real estate endeavors.
