I’m sure this question has been asked ad nauseam but I want to see if there is any new info aside from what I know.Wife has a 401k from a previous employer.We are considering purchasing a vacation rental in Maui that has excellent #’s and would cash flow as well as letting us use for a few weeks a year free of cost.

Understand your own investment strategy, if you're looking to value add and refi out then it's going to be very difficult to do so in any of these areas, if you're okay leaving 20% in on a CV Loan and reaping the excellent cash flow then it makes sense to buy in the inner city. 

Their lender portal is not as slick as other servicers, but their communication is excellent and I have been very happy with them.

I can buy a 300,000$ house in a good neighborhood, with a 80% finance from the bank, and can rent it for about 2,000$ easily, which represents an excellent rate of return.Do you think it is wise for me to go for this deal?
