WIth October being just around the corner, I have reached out socially to my property manager to ask for some advice on neighborhoods, strategy, finance products, ect.

@Don Carey - It’s only the HUD products that carry that requirement.  

It's just the way the insurance carriers price their products.

If they don't like the finished product, they can not come back and blame you.

That is the solution I have been landing on as well because the future value will certainly appreciate well due to the location and product.

I view equity as a reserve, albeit not as liquid as cash.
