The demand is there, no doubt about it.

I’m doubtful the bank would lend outside of Bavaria.

It is a concern, but if they made use of that clause I would doubt they would have any good referrals.

my houses are old 50's or 60's home,and could have cast iron pipes,who knowns people could get sick because of that and I doubt someone would cover this,the list of eventual issues seems endless to me..My question is how can I sleep at night and take advantage of the great potential of rental investments?

There is no room for doubt or debate here.

My first thing I remind myself when I begin to doubt is repeat a mantra:  "Do the math and the math will tell you what to do."

@Wayne Brooks Actually I am an attorney... just not in TX or FL.Once the buyer and the title company become aware of the adverse claim (thereby eliminating the bona fide purchaser defense) I doubt the sale moves forward without either the blessing of all parties (tenant joining in execution of the deed) or a final disposition of an action filed in an appropriate court.
