This will help weed out first term folks that are either not very responsible yet or that may be forced to live in barracks and decide to get a place they can't afford anyways with some buddies b/c its more conducive to partying.I also give a military discount, but make it contingent on the service member establishing an allotment (military term for direct deposit) to me so I don't have to worry about collecting rent.

Question: If I approached the tax assessor with an offer to purchase the property for less than the value of the lot (in resale condition) would they wipe away the taxes owed and sell it to be able to start collecting on that property?
