I've found a rental property that is a 4B/1.5Bath/No garage but there is parking at the rear of the property with footings to build a garage.

For a crash to happen, a major occurrence needs to happen, i.e. interest rates need to climb dramatically (which is not likely since the Fed would be shooting themselves in the foot with that), a major supply/demand shift would need to be pending, or a huge financial crisis.

Am I shooting myself in the foot? 

The normal 203k requires more documentation, appraisals, and inspections.

That reminds me that I'd heard someone had bought really "normal" homes, but had themed them and it was really successful.

I have plans for a 4-plex but curious to know what price per square foot the builders are quoting you?

Also normal is a pre-payment penalty.

The sellers realtor said they had a cash offer after our contract was signed, we don't know if this is true but even so is this the new normal for a multihome?
