My current experience has been one where there isn't full disclosure, product and services mini commercials..... things that were never requested have now become the focal point, I'm just super busy right now....yet you offered and insisted you would be a resource, opportunity seekers abound (the conversation was centered around you being an active buyer in the market AND now the conversation is about why you'd make a great JV partner). gurus... just send me x amount of dollars and I can help you, established "good ole boys/girls" cliches.

It seems so easy to take advantage of an out-of-state landlord, e.g they could:- make up maintenance charges ("guest broke a chair")- lie about utilities- lie about nightly rate and keep the difference- pretend the place is vacant and do their own bookingsHow can I protect myself as a landlord?

There was a fire that broke out and was contained only in the roof, but when the fire was extinguished the insurance company insisted that the drywall and flooring be removed due to mold issues.
