Basically, what I gathered is that the lease is a good place to start with but then compare it with the State Law because in the end, that has more weight because a landlord can't just add statements he/she made up or took from the internet and add it to the lease when really, it's not in compliance with state laws.

Words mean things There is a GREAT deal of disagreement what constitutes an asset and what constitutes a liability.Most consumers will argue blue in the face that their home is an asset, yet they have never received a check from it while they dump hundreds of thousands of dollars into home loan interest, property taxes, upkeep, ...Again, we're not talking balance sheet here.Newer / younger investors often look at building their net worth rather than finding ways to keep it stagnant.
