You're likely already aware of this, but Maryland cities have stringent laws for older rentals, so if it's pre-1978 and you have not read through the rental requirements for older homes yet, do so before deciding to rent vs flip and especially before doing any work, yourself, unless you've taken the proper lead certification classes.
