He gives a straight no chaser view of properties in Cleveland, and the good bad and ugly of Cleveland real estate investing.

I have bene in Real Estate appraisal for the last 3 years. 

I would find a local bank that works with real estate investors and open an account there.

Compared to local insurance companies (I've used Farmers, state farm, and a several others over the past decade + of doing real estate) save me hundreds on monthly premiums.

You might want to explore Athens or Decatur, still within commuting distance to Huntsville government jobs, but real estate prices not so high. 

Or are there still good reasons to talk with a real person?

I've been working with investors for about 4-5 months, since i got my real estate license.
