Create a "Bank" account in your chart of accounts (same as a checking account), call it "ABC Servicing Trust Account" (or whatever your servicing company is called).Make a "deposit" into this account for the full amount of the borrowers payment, linked to your interest income account.Next, write a check from this account, linked to your your undeposited funds account for the amount that you actually received from the servicing company.
