lol Problem is the credit card cost them future money in a negative way with interest rates and the assets they buy expensive car and other clothes and furniture etc. are depreciating at a fast pace.I looked over at some of my neighbors pouring tons of money into their house and thinking this superficial stuff they are never getting back dollar for dollar.

On the other side of that coin though there are a couple of high rise complexes going in so I suspect that next year or the following year they will be flat if not a bit negative.

If you bought an investment property today, put a long term tenant in there, and the property cash flows for you, this should not negatively impact you when buying your forever home.
