The dude with jeans on and a flannel shirt holding a Starbucks cup is just as likely to have a slew of properties as the guy with the suit and the under-pored shot of smooth whiskey with an oversized cube in it.

There are a lot of mother-in-law suite basements available in SFH's at a better price point than traditional duplexes (even with having to add egress windows and a separate entrance).

This includes renos, second suites, etc.

Stokley, Rent is only 1200 for a two master bedroom suite off of diamond springs road.  

If you have the advantage of reviewing several and choosing one that best suits you, great.

They can sue, anyone can, but it is the validity of the suit that counts.

I like @Ryland Taniguchi's more creative ideas, but perhaps a suit will get your relative to take action.

The contractor that did my bathrooms suggested I knock out two walls in the master suite to create a walk-in closet in the master and rearrange the bathroom layout.  

We are open to alot of places, we are looking for the best market to suit us.
