Theres three seprate buildings the Main building is 10 bed facility with 10 bedrooms and 6 baths plus office, utility room, kitchen, dining room, den room and storage rooms.

A self-storage facility I bought a few months back has a large billboard with a market rate of about $400-500/month, but the prior owner signed a contract that provided an easement to Lynd for a period of 10 years, starting in 2013, for only $130/month. 

It’s an old duplex (1875) in a decent B neighborhood. 1 bed 1 bath in one unit and a 2 bed + flex space (laundry/storage which could upgraded to full br).

Then demo it, and add a shed on concrete piles with wood floor framing cost effective and adds new storage to the property.Glad the rest of the house passed.Best wishes.

It depends also in the type of syndication you want to invest in.There are STR, multifamily, storage units, commercial, mortgage note syndications.

I now have a storage unit with some excess furniture in it for my next STR purchase.

I was always interested in Self Storage, however, I would much rather be closer to that so I can run it more efficiently. 

Our property is 2 acres and we're hoping to acquire the adjacent 3 acres that has 4 structures (3 previously used as farm worker houses and 1 as a refrigerated flower storage building).
