Not all contractors have expeditors so you'd have to look into hiring a separate expeditor, designer, and the contractor or you can find a different design and construction which typically have one-stop shops.

Hi Sean, yes I understand that each LLC needs its own EIN, but question refers for "Series LLCs" which is a different formation allowed in only a few states, Ohio being one of them.

It's 2 properties, single family homes, in the SF Bay Area.Sharing some details that might help inform the decision, let me know if anything else would be relevant.One property fully paid off, generates between $20-30k in profit after expenses (property taxes, hoa, insurance, etc).The other property is our current primary residency and would operate at a loss of about $10k/year.I plan to travel back to the US at least once a year, could that be a deductible expense with an LLC?

Purchase price was 145k and after a 15k rehab the current estimate is about 220k.I’m currently remodeling my primary and once that is complete I will have about 250k in equity.My minimum goal for cash flow from my portfolio once I leave my job is 5k a month as I have a side job already in place.
