How long do you plan on holding and what’s the requirements to renew the land lease?  

Basically, I'm planning to self-manage until my portfolio grows beyond my capability to do so.

My plan was to acquire a property through owner financing, and find someone whose goals align with what I'm trying to accomplish and have them cover the down payment.

We sat down and traced out a plan (i.e. paying down debt, increasing their FICO scores, saving for a down payment, type of home) and in both cases, they were ready to buy in less than a year's time. 

And if someone is very successful in real estate they would not have time to mentor someone, especially someone they do not know and do not interview to judge if they think they are a right fit (and just take your money)

I have a few single family homes I'm planning to sell as they become vacant.

But unless you know and understand the reasoning behind it, and are sure the reasoning applies to you, opening up all these LLCs because "everybody does that" or "that's what my real estate bible told me to do" is a pretty silly way to run a business.Taxes and, I assume, legal issues, are never cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all issues. 

I plan to invest in Erie County outside the City of Buffalo. 

For example, Inheritance tax, capital gains tax ( not planning on selling but just in case), etc. do we create an llc within a trust or do we create a corporation. my accountant recommended a c corp and doing a title transfer but from the research I've done the leaves us liable to capital gains tax.

Living in the US now, planning to go back to Spain within the next 5 years and I am wondering if anyone has experience using the BRrr strategy there.
