2 Story or 3 story with a MIL duplex

The cost to build each model is not significantly different.My dilemma is trying to figure out where the demand would be greatest for rental (while I own) and then for resell in a few years.I think the market for those wanting a 3 story is limited, but having the extra bedroom and a ground floor MIL unit makes me think someone would be more than happy to climb the 2 flights to the bedrooms.

But if you change your drivers license, or homestead another property, or really do move somewhere else for a year but claim you lived there you're really pushing it.The only exceptions to the 2 out of 5 involve active military service, a job related transfer, or extraordinary health stuff.
