Of course private bookings are a great option as well through social media or friends + family but the focus on maximizing the rental potential at the moment has been quite an adventure.  

Especially if you're getting help to do it.That said if you don't plan to use your degree in the relevant field going into debt to do so seems like an unnecessary gamble.

I am not near as adventurous as some of you

If you can sort out a good prop mgmt arrangement, it can be a great investment/venture/adventure!

Things can definitely be over-whelming at first, as is with any new adventure.

The Pocono Mountains are for adventure seekers, nature enthusiasts, and folks who want to enjoy some time with friends and family (or alone) in a quiet, peaceful place.   

So far, I only own one property, but I owe that to BP and have begun making Phase 2 connections that I am hopeful will connect and motivate me on to further REI adventures.

I know many of the investors on this board are honest but for every one of you I can show 5 dirty investors that will use a broker/agent and spit them out.Their is a fine line for a little upfront work to develop a relationship and flat out doing a ton of front end work hoping to get paid on the back end.That isn't a business to me but gambling as a broker/agent.I agree with J Scott that a great buyers agent doesn't always make a great listing agent.
