Finally I am finding that although legally it's ok to do FHA loans on pre-90 day properties some banks do not want to do it if the house is being sold for more than 20% of what I paid for it.

950 days is nothing :DMost recent sheriff sale in my area had a foreclosure case that started on May 2, 2003 (and finally did go back to the bank in July 2012), and you know that they were missing payments for a few months before the bank started the foreclosure.
