@Deric Allen, House hacking is an incredible way to get into buy and hold real estate investing with a relatively low financial barrier to entry… plus the added benefit of reducing housing costs!

And those windows aren't entry level windows - they are the more "advanced" windows with radon gas injected, etc. 

@Kelly Orth & @Andrew Cruickshank I would take into consideration the supply of STR's in the area you are looking to invest as well as the entry price, then determine your highest ROI.

I'm struggling to see why I'm paying $500-700 for what appears fairly straightforward data entry.

It’s not surprising as the point of entry to the lending industry is not that difficult, unfortunately. 

Makes it easy to generate monthly or yearly reports and final totals for entries for tax preparation.Anything out there that is better, that you don't have to pay a monthly/yearly fee?

I have used turnkey as a starting point for my entry into the rental market and I have had a great experience working with @Chris Clothier and the team at REI Nation.

The challenge with selling any of them is that the 4 on Indy are lower entry amounts and cash flow modestly but low equity.

Entry is pretty high around here so to start I have been looking near hopkins and loyola.
