We have lost a couple of soldiers to rabies in the last couple of years even though we cull and have a strict policy of no pets.

Their brother-in-law, lawyer, dog, or undeducated CPA told them it was illegal.

I could take my chances and bird dog it, but I will only get $1,000.00 or so.I talked to a Contractor that I know personally and he did say he would come in and give me an estimate.

For now I have just been bird-dogging for him, and following him around while he rehabs his deals, what a great way to make a living.Anyway, I can not really show him deals out of the area (he likes to keep things in his back yard), but many of the out of the area deals have potential, and that is why I am here.I think I will be able to grow in this forum, it has great information and the networking potential is obvious to me.I look forward to posting some of the deals I find, and hopefully partnering or getting a finders fee to start out, then eventually get in to investing my own money (After I make some bird-dogging).Thanks :cool:

I've had tenants offer *more* money if they can have a pet, move in quickly, etc.

I saw some of the hokiest tests you could imagine-chinese wall sniffing dogs,checking copper wires on switches/outlets etc.

So if I use a state specific lease, which was what I planned anyway, I can add to it, such as no smokers, no aggressive large dogs, things within reason?

Tenants love them, especially people with dogs.

(In fact, when there is Copper piping in a house I will sometimes go in and spray paint it white to look like CPVC)On the other hand, the salty dogs in the business will say that CPVC maybe won't last like Copper.

The last thing you want is a massive aggressive dog or dogs in your house.
