Just started a new job thats about 80% work from home so I have expanded my search southwards towards RI where there seems to be much cheaper options. 

In my opinion, Bigger Pockets does a great job with solving this problem as it expands your network and gives you opportunities to meet people worldwide with similar goals. 

I am a active duty newbie trying to meet people who are experienced or willing to give advice on how to expand a buy and hold portfolio with little to no money down.

As the west end expands, the mills continue to get renovated, I see the Judson area as the ideal buy/hold area with upside to sell as a flip in less than 5 years.

Surprisingly, the light rail actually expands pretty far south of Charlotte's downtown, so are there any neighborhoods within walking distance of a light rail stop that are better investments?
