I currently work as a People Operations Analyst for a video game company (EA) in the Bay Area.

If they are new to the game then dig deeper into their property management background and see if it passes the smell test.As for questions, the basic business stuff like insurance, are they properly licensed, have a company formed properly, their rates, the timeline to do repairs, their experience with collecting rent from tenants like yours, etc.

Deviate from your normal investment mindset - and start thinking creatively house you can get into the game by hacking your current living situation, or investment strategy.

They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

The new legislation that went active on Jan 1 changed the game and allows for adding 25% percent more units for multifamily state wide.
