In my professional career I am the leader/supervisor of a Fortune 500 energy company here in York.

Im also opened to hearing some other areas that are upcoming. 

In the comments, I received REAL answers, encouragement, & on the other hand I also criticism/judgment/assumptions from people who are really just unhappy with their own lives & real estate career.

Just one generation ago, it was possible to start and end your career with the same company.

:oops: There's still a fire in me to get into investing into real estate, and with a few minor changes to my mind set I belive I'm ready to step up to a career to get some good hard money saved ( And hopefully have some fun and learn some lessons along the way ).I wanted to know in a nut shell what types of careers there are in real estate and what perhaps would be a recommendation for a 20 year old with no experience.I was thinking perhaps starting as a real estate receptionist ( one with VERY good ears, hint hint ) to break into the career and eventually the market.

Typically, they pay 5%.Seriously though, the "wiifm" attitude that you may sense from realtors may derive from their need to have a career and earn a living, not just because they are selfish.Just a thought.

Make no mistake why this is the only career in the modern US with the title "lord" still affixed to it.
