Several properties I found were under contract before the listing agent or my agent could get me in to see them and trying to schedule a contractor to look at them with me and an agent is almost impossible.I do travel overnight with my day job and have no plans of leaving in the near future.

I've been there before  I'd voice your concern to him, they may be in the middle of taking care of a sick loved one or balancing the kids and traveling.  

As well as traveling and being able to enjoy my hobbies, I realized that real estate investing would be a great fit.I do not have any experience in real estate besides buying our first home just over a year ago.

I want my daughter and I to live comfortably and travel the world.

I've yet to take any of my exams (due to traveling for my "day-job") but I've taken the course in 3 states.  

Then the money is secure but not spent in advance in case of emergency and the tenant must vacate - extended out of the area medical treatment, care of inlaws or locates employment. 

That is, having enough money to flip the bird at the boss, walk off the job and start traveling the world.

Does anyone have experience buying small retail buildings perhaps 3 to 5 units that redeveloped into medical units?

I'm not an attorney so not sure if this guy can win with pre-existing medical problems.
