It will resolve down the lot level and can predict with incredible accuracy which houses on any given street will stand and which will burn. 

Putting your money into the stock market I'd advise to never check the balance till retirement, you may be likely to freak out and sell low.

Start small, boring and predictable and learn the land lording process.
