We're planning to build something nice (yet to be designed), but my interpretation of nice and theirs may differ.

The street it's on, I would say, divides a not so nice part of town from the best side of town.

Understandable, Bienes Raices but you could always upload a photo from a distance or a nice nature photo :) Anything to keep me from staring that that mysterious man with the giant dollar sign all day!

Although I met some really nice people and the topic the evening I went interesting & chock full of information, it was really more of a sales pitch (complete with credit card machine in the back of the room).

As many know, under Prop 60 in California (may not last long in broke CA) I can sell my home and buy a home of equal or lesser value and maintain my current property tax rate - a substantial savings for me as I've been in my home for 30 years.I'm in a nice home on what has become a busy street over the past decade for various reasons.

All an elderly person needs to do is say to a judge something like.....no, I didn't really understand all of that, he seemed like a nice man and he told me so much I thought everything was okay.

I'm down in Denver, and we definitely have a nice group of people in the Denver/Boulder corridor.As for getting started, the key is to find the strategy that meets your short/long term goals.
