I will say, though, that in over 20 years of lending he's never not been able to close on a loan he's preaproved; which if you're familiar with the 'colateral damage rate' that most lenders are alright with having, is absolutely f***ing mind blowing.It also doesn't hurt that he's just a genuinely cool guy to be around and learn from.

There's no universal lending rules, so it's unlikely that every single bank would treat you the same way.Some of the things to consider ... you will likely require considerable cash reserves to get any bank, of any scale, excited about loaning you the money.
