@Matthew Olszak What company did you use for the investigation?  

In regards to you dilemma, i would need to see your tax returns, banks do not use 1099 income to qualify, also, what is the type of the business listed on your returns, it might pass the radar without investigating.

Just make sure you do what you say you will in that you pay in a timely fashion so they have no reason to look back at the file and investigate.

We are looking at few properties in Raytown near Kansas city and upon investigation found that it has lots of crime and upside for appreciation is quite limited ?

This is not typical for an agent to investigate and disclose.

So far, I haven't seen them post about being investigated.

So we're well positioned to start our journey (which I'm actively investigating).  

If I see a property that rents for .8% of the purchase price or higher, I know it's worth investigating.

Well I think the first question is did you file a police report, have the case investigated, and had a judge determine that those funds (if any) indeed belong to you?

And they don't mention the investigations by the state and feds when you make a mistake in the process.
