Otherwise I may have to engage an accountant for some paid advice on how to move forward.It was also suggested that as we are currently renting ourselves, maybe we can revert the house to be our primary residence for a while after the lease is up, and sell a month or two down the road and avoid capital gains through the $500K married exemption.
