Sometimes it can be easier to just keep your hopes and dreams from certain people.Also, often times many people don't want to see others succeed because it makes them feel "less than."

Remember that most of the initial payments go toward interest - that doesn't even start to turn around until past the half-way point in a 30-year loan.Get your real estate "machine" built and running first, "buy" your "dream home" later.

Get your "dream team" in place FIRST and you're more likely to experience success. 

I knew my dream career would be in real estate.

The idea of a backyard BBQ with friends and family is just too much engrained in the American dream.

I am extremely happy that I found the BiggerPockets community because that gave me the spark to say that my dream to become a real estate investor is within reach and that it is never too late to start.I currently love my W-2 job, but with the amount of stress that it puts on me and my family I realize that it is not something that I will be able to do forever.

Since this will be our first renting go around and we absolutely LOVE our house (legit dream house) does anyone have any advice on screening tenants or advice in general for first timers to renting out?
