I am looking ino purshasing at the tax auction.

(The deal/project that started it all)It was a property purchased at auction.

My latest buy, I paid 50k at tax auction and its worth about 95k with a fresh coat of paint.

I haven't bought anything at auction in months.

This information was not disclosed anywhere on the auction site, but was of enough concern to make you sign prior to entry.

(Each state has different rules) In Florida, if you are the lien holder and you go to foreclose, you don't get the property, the property is put up for auction and unless you bid, someone else gets the property - but their bid includes paying you off for the amount you invested in the lien and all your interest that accrued.That is one myth debunked about liens - there is NO "guaranteed" interest rate if no one pays off the lien.

Looking for some guidance on where I can find information for buying properties at auction.

We have always gotten our deals from the foreclosure auction or MLS, but I see so many people using direct mail and advertising.

There are hundreds of houses that sell at the tax auction for $500.
