I am from Olympia, WA.Strategy considering - focusing on foreclosure auctions to buy do a quick fix to flip or hold for rentals.I have a steady income full time job.

I've been scouring the auctions, short sale/REO listings on MLS, using realtor contacts, etc. it seems like Southern California is flooded with buy/hold investors who are wayyyyy overpaying and leaving no margin for profit.

Im always thinking of diffrent strategies To own property's and here is something I wanted some insight on before I try it.When a tax auction occurs the owner has a year to reclaim the property correct?

@Carol ChuiIf you cannot sell the property at a loss or at least recover something.There is another option that you can try.DO NOT pay the tax, let the county put it on tax deed auction next year.
