I'm just like you: recently decided to take the leap, learning the ropes, visiting properties and analyzing the deals.

That is unless, you want to go and visit your units once a month, in which case, enjoy driving through the neighborhood.

It might work well to re-visit books that you have read previously as a refresher but I have found that (personally, at least) it did not serve as a good way to introduce new, meaningful concepts into my life. 

After filing, visit the sherrifs office to have them serve the court summons. 

I've visited last week and got to see the area and met with some investors and feel like it is a good area for me to get started.

Visit all the garage sales in your target area, talk to the people who are selling their stuff.

My experience recently is some meetings are open to visitors all the time, some are open to members with visitors being allowed 1 visit before they need to become a member.

If it is way out of their service area it will not visited as much.

I still visit often.

My boyfriend lives in Norfolk as active military and after visiting the area and researching further I realized this could be a great cashflowing place to start especially if I keep visiting the area and move out there next year.
