I would say 70% of our tenants here in Connecticut pay through our website and the other 30% either mail payment to our office or drop it off at our office in the rent slot. 

So basically I’ll be busy with my current job and unfortunately won’t be able to benefit from a broker’s front office, or training, or support network just yet (hopefully in a few years).  

You can obtain the owner's name and mailing address from doing an online search at the Property Appraiser's Office; if it's in the name of an LLC,  you can google that name and often times find the corporate listing.

(Of course you will probably not be able to see inside rented apartments or offices.

Thankfully my job only requires I be physically in the office infrequently, so I could owner-occupy for a year  in "nearby" areas (Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, etc)... but it is still a major course correction. 

And, despite their claims that they have an office in Indy, they in fact do not. 

For one like this I probably would set an appointment, but I'm setting it in my office so that I'm not driving anywhere.

Through an initial investment of 3k, 3 yrs ago have grown into a 9 unit operation with yearly gross revenue of 450k.

.- A 3 BD/1.5 BA also resides on the property...which was used as a 2 BD/1 BA and office.- City water/sewer.  

Find a trustworthy realtor or a local property manager and ask their opinion as well.As a police officer I worked with informants.
