I'm thinking of trying to get short sales and I remember being told that the companies don't sell that data anymore, but I've heard recently that the law has changed and that they get can it from the credit bureaus again.I'm thinking of getting around 5,000 leads and mailing them 3x.

I came across this site that offers great general insight into the US rental market in larger cities. https://livelovely.com/reports/q32014It has value but not enough to get what I call Level 2 or Level 1 data - the information most like and in proximity to the subject.

Sellers need to remove themselves from the emotions of the home, this goes for investors as well.Before a seller puts thier home on the market, they need to do the research, either themselves or by having a local Realtor in the area do it for them (which will also get you the most accurate data).
