Now I’m trying to find new deals here in Alaska and there aren’t many options or leads as there are in the lower 48 especially now that winter is coming up soon.

You said speed is of the essence, but unless you have 1099 deadlines, right now may not be a bad time to just sit and watch to see what happens this winter.

I don't see the government allowing people to be thrown out in the middle of winter and expenses go up for landlords as heating bills go up in the winter.

. $50.00 is a decent starting point, and would change if it’s heated / have electricity, etc. also based of street parking availability and winter restrictions.

Until... we showed up, the place was full of squatters, every pipe in the building had burst because it hadn't been winterized and we found out that it and the 4plex next door that shared the driveway/parking had literally been used as the drug house/brothel in town (in UT??

I have a seasonal rental down by the beach, been winterizing it the last 8 years but 3 back a plumber didn't do a good job and busted my almost new furnace I'm toying with the idea of putting in 3 or 4 well-placed electric heaters in the walls which would cost me a quarter of a new furnace.

It could go a little slower as there are fewer listings in the winter.
