He's based in the UK so he's not local to the markets he works in so you really need to vet their entire leadership and staff who manage the execution, not just the owner.

Hi Vishal, I'm based on Los Angeles and know some MTR/STR owners in Riverside county.

@Jesse Edwards, I was just thinking, based on your original post, you should be talking with the building department to understand if there are any nuances in your jurisdiction.  

But some people do.As an agent, my team works with a lot of investors and based on experience we require OOS clients to meet with us in Milwaukee at least one time to check out neighborhoods in person.

Based on your explanation, it looks like I fall into category 1 since I plan on repeating this strategy at least 2-3 more times.
