I think the typical self employed person reaps an apparent windfall in a couple of areas.(1) They purchase used vehicle(s) and then take huge mileage deductions using the $.52(?)

With my new employer, we like to see a six-month seasoning period unless you use one of our fix & flip programs and then go into one of our rental vehicles then we can usually void the seasoning.

That said, guests should be advised to not have their valuables in plain sight in their locked vehicles and to lock up their bicycles.
