Well if you are going to pursue junior, 2nd position notes, Dave VanHorn and his crew at PPR probably have the best background to coach you.

I want to do the online credit/background check myself, but want to make sure it's still all right.

Yeah its not that they require 6 months technically but a conventional lender like myself would get charged back their commission if you payoff your loan in under the min required period.

I guess my question is technical, i.e. - how specifically would you "wait", what can you do so you don't miss it when it hits the market? 

Check out quality of posts, websites, LinkedIn and any other background information.Since I'm new to the REI arena, I've spent considerable time learning, observing, following and reading select member posts on BP that I've come to trust, just to understand the nature of this diverse business. 

I did go to their website and found it very light on solid information: no detailed technical explanation of how it is implemented and all I could find on the warranty is that it is "lifetime of the structure and transferrable" - a copy of the warranty was not available.  

I know this is most likely a question better suited for an attorney but was just wondering if anyone around here had some good background to add to this. 

Also, technically he is committing a type of fraud.
