You need marketing and sales skills for both.

You need to define your goals and list what assets and skill sets you bring to the table before talking about strategies.

Getting licensed as an agent and as a GC does not really equip you with any meaningful skills; the real learning starts after you have the credentials.

I've spent more time with family, been able to teach flying and diving to students, and been able to start a volunteer organization.

I'm trying to build a solid network of fellow inverters to build with, learn from and sharpen our skills together!

I along with @Sean Sullivan @Peter Siler @Daniel Amsalem @Frances Marquez also organize a meet up once a month in Tyson's corner.

Local Chambers of Commerce and other local business organizations can be great sources for this type of information.

Our skills and knowledge in construction helped keep their costs down so they could get it onto the market.
