I own and self-manage a property that recently had two drip valves break causing excessive water usage for January, February and March.

They have been actively managing a few small mulitfamily homes for many years and no longer desire to be actively managing. 

You have two properties, which are in a blanket mortgage and you use a property management company to manage them.

We have been self managing from afar utilizing previous service providers and friends with an occasional new hire.

Quickbooks is good although I would definitely prefer to have my accounting software be the same platform as our property management software.

He does not have the capital to rehab obviously but I have another family member who is basically willing to put up the cash for renos but wants nothing to do with management, nor the old owner having any say over the buildings - I would manage.

Would love to build a network of other midterm rentals owners and managers to collaborate with. 

I don't have a property manager on them since I have 10% down, they take care of the place as though it's their own.
