If you determine the monthly amount you are far more likely to receive it than allowing her to voluntarily determine the amount as she is now doing.

You will need to have a partnership/operating agreement and will need to file several documents with the state. 

Last fall I received a letter from my insurance company, they will not renew my policy when it ends in May of 2018 because of the asbestos siding.
