Here we have 'leave live' agreements with the utility to keep the power on between tenants.The few bucks saved by not having power in your name for a little while can cost much more apparently.I would run the dehumidifier a couple days and revisit the issue with your tenant.

I have made enquiries with a property management company in Tampa and they have sent me details of their charges and a copy of the agreement.I am only a small investor with 1 property currently and I have a few issues with the rental agreement (I've not committed to this or signed anything) as it seems that the agent (PM) is not responsible for non payment by the tenant, even though they charge for screening the tenant prior to contracting with them.

Generally no set penaltyIf this is an REO, your contract states the bank owes no penalty, either wait or walk, there could be title issues, or just behind.

I currently have someone else working on a binder to see if they'll cover it, but just wanted to see what others have dealt with in this topic.. the small research that I've done on cloth wiring has shown that it doesn't seem to be any real hazard or even necessary to replace unless if there are apparent issues with the wiring.
