Flip: Buyers bank asking for list of improvements and costs
I have my latest flip under contract; it spent 5 days on the MLS. The mortgage company for the buyers has requested a list of improvements and my costs for those improvements. This is a first for me. I really don't have anything to hide, but I can't help but view this request as negative - like I am giving away secrets. Meanwhile, I'll no problem posting the details here on BP.
Purchase price $22,000
Fix up $52,000
Sale Price $95,000
Projected Profit $6,000
So, obviously, I'm conflicted. Any thoughts? Did this happen to you, how did you handle it?
