Al Seward Should We Do It? House Hack in Baltimore

I theory buying a multi family that cash flows shouldn’t hurt your ability to qualify for another house later, the issue is a lot of stuff in the nice parts of Baltimore are hard to cash flow with todays rates (if you can even find them at all) I’ll be honest if I wanted a single family home in the suburbs I’d just do that, in this current market environment, to me keeping it simple, buying something you want to live in 1st and a investment 2nd is the way to go.

And for what it’s worth as well I found a level of comfort in paying for a course taught by someone was passionate about bringing bike lanes to Clemson rather than buying exotic cars.In my opinion the course was very much worth it – my biggest takeaways were learning how to run the numbers on a property, analyze a market/neighborhood, learned the lingo and vocab, and built up my confidence to start taking the actions needed to get started.Pros:Live Zoom calls with Chad and other experienced investors across the country and using different investing strategiesSelf-paced tutorials with lifetime accessNetworking through the community – I have found a mentor from taking the courseValuable materials like analysis spreadsheets, scripts for interviewing property managers, and all of Chad’s other courses (included)Welcoming environment, easy to ask beginner questionsChad really is like a Coach and you can communicate directly with him about the course or a deal you are working onI honestly don’t have any cons.
