But even if I just learn ONE THING from a book I consider it money well spent (whether it's a new sentence to add to my lease, or the list of 'dangerous dogs' that cause the majority of 'bite suits', or whatever -- then I have added that one thing to my knowledge base).There are some good threads here on books people have found valuable.

The problem here is that banks are almost universally lazy and incompetent and probably won't do that.The bottom line is that it's VERY DANGEROUS to buy a building with tenants without KNOWING the lease status.
