Hello all. I am new here but enjoy reading the forums and have learned a lot. I live in New Orleans and just moved back after evacuating from hurricane Katrina. Heres what I have. Due to Katrina, I now have 70K in equity in my home. I wanted to take some of that money and invest in something. I dont know if I should get a house to try and flip, but a duplex to rent or something else. I know that everyone goes their own way when they first start out. I was just wanting to know what everyone thinks would be a good road for me to travel. Thank you all very much in advance.
