For us it's exciting to visit new areas and see what's going on.

I will say that the listing agent let us know that the tenants have already asked about when, where and how to send rent so thats good.Do we make a visit in person or send an official letter?

I'm planning to visit Scranton soon to get a better feel for the city before jumping in, but visiting is definitely no replacement for the insight you get from living in the area.

If I am SEEING a property, I already have a general sense of a price where it's worth it, I am just visiting to see general condition, immediate neighborhood, etc.
