@Ken Sanders, my nagging instincts tell me that you'd need to be "selling" it to to the LLC for what it owes you, rather than $1.00 (else YOUR losses would be immediately apparent to the IRS and everyone else, right*?)

Yes, such an independent verification and the public sharing of the final reports would be expensive...but if all the claims made are true, the reports generated would confirm the claims and result in enhanced levels of credibility and likely commensurate increases in the levels of investment.

If balance owed is what you are looking for (Not "projected/hypothetical/assumed" balance, and not the balance at origination), there are no websites you can go to, to get that information.

Lastly- trying to to be too lengthy, you can fire him (in writing) citing cause for such action and hire another contractor to finish the job since you are essentially losing money everyday. --- then sue him for whatever he has been paid fur and not finished.

But just like how you & Jamie had issues with servicing companies, that compelled you to start BIFI, we had soooooo much issues with Property Managers, we havent been lucky to to find a decent one prior to this.
